Name and contact details

We collect your name, your address, your email address, your phone number and similar contact details. These are used to provide you with services and to contact you in relation to services. If you have given permission, we also use these for marketing purposes for services/events provided by us or by others in the local area. If you have given permission for third party marketing, we additionally may pass this data to third parties for carefully selected marketing relevant to your permissions.

If you wish to have your details removed from the register of interest, please contact us at contact@roshervilleservices.co.uk advising us of the e-mail you used to register and we will remove you from the list.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on this website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Data is shared with your consent or as necessary to provide any service.

Data may be shared with third party organisations delivering services on our behalf. Any data shared will be done so under a data sharing agreement to maintain your privacy to the same level as we require of ourselves, and data shared is strictly restricted to that necessary for delivering services.

Data may also be shared with Central Government and its agencies, including police and as required by law, for the delivery of service, prevention and detection of crime, public health, safety and service planning. Where the sharing of such data is not covered by law, there will be a specific data sharing agreement in place as detailed above.

How to control your personal data and your rights

For us to ensure that the data that we hold for you is up to date and accurate, you can help us by:

  • telling us when any of your details change; and
  • telling us if any of the information we hold on you is wrong (You have a right to require us to make changes to your data if it is wrong).

You also have a right to ask us to delete any information that we hold about you although we will only undertake this task if it is not required for further processing. In line with the company retention policy, data will be deleted once it is no longer useful.

You can ask to see what data we hold about you and ask to be sent a copy. This is called a Subject Access Request. Requests are free of charge unless there is a lot of work or a lot of photocopying and postage, which we are allowed to charge a reasonable fee for.

We adhere to the same policy in regards to Subject Access Requests as Gravesham Borough Council.
